Adriaanse: 'Not interested in Sunderland'

After they fired manager Roy Keane Premier League club Sunderland would like to sign Co Adriaanse as their new manager, but the English side can save themselves the trouble: Adriaanse is not interested.

Through Chris Woerts, former General Director of Feyenoord and now at the North England club, had mentioned the name to their chairman Niall Quin, who does not have a network on the continent.

But the current Red Bull Salzburg coach is not into a move to England.

"First of all I have a contract until the end of the season, and I will honour that. I don't want to go to Sunderland because I want to win the league with Red Bull this year. And besides I have not been approached by Sunderland so the whole question is not relevant. I feel good in Austria and won't just leave like that," Adriaanse explained to Elf Voetbal.
