Mark Van Bommel fed up with extreme German
media
23 September 2008
Bayern Munich lost 5-2 in their
own Allianz Arena on Saturday to Werder Brempen and
according to the German tabloids there's internal trouble
at the club.
But skipper Mark van Bommel claims
that there is nothing going on.
He says he is pretty fed up with
the German media.
"After this defeat they are
writing we are no good at all an that we are very down
about it. Apparently the media can only be either very
positive or very negative, with nothing in-between.
This is the first time I have seen it this bad,"
the Dutch midfielder rants in Bild.
The past few days especially goal
keeper Michael Rensing received some harsh criticism.
Unjustified Van Bommel thinks:
"Michael played no part in the first four goals
of Werder. Okay on the fifth he made a mistake, but
that did not influence the result. Michael is getting
better and better, but he is in the unfortunate position
that he has to succeed a legend like Oliver Kahn."
