Mark Van Bommel to leave Bayern Munich

According to several German newspapers
Bayern Munich are looking for a replacement for their
skipper Mark van Bommel.
Despite the fact that his contract
expires at the end of this season Bayern have still
not offered him an extension.
On Sunday Van Bommel said that
he will meet with his agent Rob Jansen soon to discuss
his future.
Jansen told German Kicker magazine:
"We are waiting for Bayern to see what their plans
are. When they do not want Mark any longer he will go.
That's how it goes in football. We have not yet spoken
to other clubs. Only when Bayern have indicated they
do no want him any more we will look for another club.
That can be in Germany or elsewhere."
Van Bommel was appointed as captain
of the German giants this summer, but has spent a number
of matches on the bench this season.
