Surprise transfer: Davids to Kocaelispor

Surprising news from the transfer

claim to know that Edgar Davids will continue his career
with Turkish Kocaelispor.
The club's chairman said today
that there are few obstacles for a transfer of free
agent Davids.
According to Gürkan his club
have reached an understanding with Davids and it is
99% sure that the former Holland-midfielder will sign
a contract with the recently promoted side.
Awaiting a new club Davids - who
quite at Ajax at the end of last season - maintained
his fitness at AZ Alkmaar, the club of his former coach
Louis van Gaal.
Earlier this summer he was also
spotted on the training ground of Ruud Gullit's LA Galaxy
(US).
