Van Persie: "Beware of Twente"

Arsenal striker Robin van Persie
thinks that Arsenal are in for a warm reception at FC
Twente tonight.
Both teams will be battling it
out for a place in the group stages of the Champions
League and even though the Londoners are the big favorites,
the man from Rotterdam knows they can not underestimate
the team from Enschede.
"Twente played some fine football
last season. We can expect a tough night and I really
mean that. I think Twente are a good side. We must pay
attention and be sharp from the start," Van Persie
told BN/De
Stem.
Van Persie admits that many of
his team mates knew absolutely nothing about FC Twente.
"The lads came up to me and
asked who Twente were. For those guys Twente is totally
unknown. Did they know McClaren was coach there? Well,
we do not have that many English in our squad, hahaha...
They knew he was somewhere in Holland, but they hadn't
a clue as to where exactly."
