Huntelaar to captain Ajax

Ajax-manager Marco van Basten has
appointed Klaas-Jan Huntelaar as captain of
Ajax
Amsterdam
for the coming season.
When the striker is not in the
team goal keeper Maarten Stekelenburg will take over
the arm band.
Stekelenburg and Huntelaar - part
of Holland's Euro-squad - have not yet started training.
They were granted an extra week
off.
