Stevens: "Two steps backwards"

PSV-coach Huub Stevens remained
positive after the dissappointing Champions League display
against Atletico
Madrid.
PSV were defeated with clear figures
on their home turf: 0-3.
Afterwards Stevens tried to be
positive in the dressing rooms.
"I rather lose 3-0 once than
three times 1-0," he said on Dutch TV.
"Of course you want to get
a result in the opening game, but when you fall behind
so early in the match it's difficult. They waited for
us to make a mistake and then finished it with one or
two touches. Atletico have a strong squad and they can
replace their star players easily. We are still about
making small steps forward, but tonight it was two steps
backwards. I hope we can learn from this, so that this
defeat might have a positive effect."
