PSV land Nijland for € 4 million

PSV Eindhoven have reached an agreement
with FC Groningen for the transfer of 20-year-old forward
Stefan Nijland
.
Although PSV are still to agree
personal terms with the player no problems are expected.
It is expected that the young striker,
who was also eyed by Ajax and Feyenoord, will sign a
contract for 4 or 5 years.
PSV had been looking for a striker
all summer, but deals with Serbian Milan Jovanovic of
Standard Liege and Turkish Mevlut Erding of Sochaux
fell through over the high transfer fee.
