Huub Stevens: "This can not be!"

Huub Stevens was clear after PSV's laborious 1-0 victory over Volendam.

"This can not be," the Eindhoven coach said.

Stevens wasn't hinting at the poor display of his team, but at the many chances PSV squandered.

"When you get so many chances, but you only convert one, you're doing something wrong," Stevens thought.

"This can not happen, but it did. And it's our own fault."

The supporters were jeering the team both after the half-time and the full-time whistle.

"Those people have the right to do so after this game," Stevens thought.

"But the three points stay in Eindhoven."
