Stevens: "UEFA Cup fine as a consolation
prize"

PSV coach Huub Stevens had seen
his team getting back on their feet in the second half
but still he had a hard tie accepting the 2-1 defeat
against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.
"We've had to hold on those
sparse goo moments a lot this season. We gave it away
in the first half, and these boys know that," Stevens
said.
PSV still have a chance of finishing
third in Group D and progressing to the UEFA Cup.
"And the best we can achieve,"
Stevens thought.
"For that we have to get a
good result against Liverpool and that in itself is
hard enough. The UEFA Cup is a consolation prize in
a way, but for PSV it will be a major step getting out
of this group."
