Amrabat: "Marseilles have more quality
than PSV"
Tuesday 21 October 2008
PSV don't see themselves as favorites
for Wednesday's home game against Olympique Marseilles
in the Champions League.
The Dutch champions need a win
to still have a chance of wintering in Europe.
According to Nordin Amrabat and
Ibrahim Afellay that will not be easy.
"This is indeed a crucial
match for us. But we can not ignore the fact that Marseilles
have a strong team," Amrabat told FC Update on
Tuesday.
"Are we the underdogs? Well
I do think Marseilles have more quality than PSV."
Team mate Ibrahim Afellay agrees:
"Of course we need to win, but it will not be easy.
Especially up front Marseilles have a lot of options.
They have many creative players in their squad, which
means they can vary a lot. But they impressed me in
their first two CL games against Liverpool and Atletico.
They lost both but they could have gotten a lot more
from it."
PSV will be without defenders Jan
Kromkamp and Mike Zonneveld and young Peruvian midfielder
Reimond Manco.
