AZ also win when they play bad

Without playing very well AZ added
another three points and remain top of the table after
a 2-0 win over Heracles.
On top the team of Louis van Gaal
set another club record as it was the sixth successive
sheet, an improvement on the record of the 1974-75 season.
In the first half AZ played very
sloppy, but despite the many errors AZ were 1-0 up at
half-time.
Ari was at the end of the first
successful attack of the home team and with his sixth
goal of the season it seems the Brazilian has firmly
established himself in the team.
The goal did not inspire AZ to
play any better though.
The visitors even had a chance
to equalize but Romero had no trouble with Tim Breukers'
long shot.
In the second half AZ showed no
improvement.
They kept making too many mistakes
but fortunately Heracles were unable to benefit from
them.
Eight minutes fro the end El Hamdaoui
decided matters with his 14th goal of the season: 2-0.
AZ remain top and the fact that
they have won a game in which they could easily have
dropped points will strengthen their believe that a
league win is really possible this season.
