Van Gaal: "Encounter with Roda comes
at the wrong moment"

The away match to Roda JC doesn't
come at a suitable moment for AZ thinks their coach
Louis van Gaal.
After Roda sacked their coach Raymond
Atteveld the team from Kerkrade took a point from Heerenveen
and beat PSV in Eindhoven with assistant-coach Martin
Koopman at the helm.
"Roda have recently switched
from a 4-3-3 to a 4-4-2 system," van Gaal taught.
"Perhaps that is the Egg of
Columbus, because they must have gained a lot of energy
from the results against Heerenveen and PSV. So we encounter
Roda at the wrong moment."
Van Gaal will not be able to use
forward Moussa Dembélé in Kerkrade.
The Belgian striker also missed
previous games against De Graafschap and FC Volendam
due to a knee injury.
He did train on Monday.
"We are not taking any risks
with him," Van Gaal said.
Gill Swerts is also still out.
After a terrible start with two
defeats AZ have really picked up the pace since with
five consecutive wins.
They are now third in the league,
one point behind joint leaders FC Groningen en NAC Breda.
