Eredivisie, day 9: some facts

• Of all the teams in the Eredivisie NEC are the only team who have not scored a goal in the first half yet. All twelve goals of the team from Nijmegen came after the break, seven were scored in the last 15 minutes.

• Willem II Tilburg will be looking for their first away victory at PSV since 3 September 1983 on Saturday. On that day Willem II won 1-2. Of the 21 matches that followed Willem II lost 19 and drew 2.

• AZ has not conceded for 364 minutes in the Eredivisie. Since Frank Demouge scored for Willem II (2-5), AZ have kept a clean sheet against Sparta Rotterdam (6-0), De Graafschap (0-2), FC Volendam (3-0) and Roda JC (0-2).

• NAC Breda will not be looking forward to their away game at FC Groningen on Saturday. The team from Breda have not won there in the last six games: four draws and two defeats were the results.

• AZ and FC Utrecht are the teams with most clean sheets this season in the Eredivisie. Goal keepers Sergio Romero and Michel Vorm have not conceded in five of their eight games played. FC Volendam, SC Heerenveen and Roda JC so far conceded in every league game.

• Feyenoord lost the last seven away games in the Eredivisie, but for Sunday's away match to Roda JC they can draw some confidence from the stats. They didn't lose in their last seven visits to Kerkrade: five wins and two undecided.

• De Graafschap are hoping to end their negative away record at FC Volendam this weekend. They have been without a victory for twelve games away from their home ground. On 21 December 2007 they beat Willem II on the road: 1-2.
