Harm van Veldhoven new coach Roda JC

Roda JC have appointed Harm van
Veldhoven to take over as head coach immediately.
The Dutchman with a Belgian passport
signed a contract that binds him to Roda until the summer
of 2010.
Van Veldhoven takes the place of
Raymond Atteveld who was fired
in October.
Since then Martin Koopman has acted
as caretaker coach.
He will be one of Van Veldhoven's
assistants next to Mark Luijpers and Jos Smits.
Van Veldhoven was coach of Belgian
first division club Germinal Beerschot until last week,
but his contract was ended after disappointing results
this season.
He also worked at SK Lommel, FC
Brussels and Cercle Brugge.
As a player Van Veldhoven was active
at SK Lommel, RWDM and Germinal Ekeren.
