Roda continue way up against Heracles

Roda JC beat Heracles Almelo 3-1
last night and can start looking up in the table.
The gap with number 18 Volendam
has now grown to 7 points and Roda have teamed up with
a group of other teams just above the red light bearer.
It didn't look like an easy win
for Roda in the first half, as the visitors were the
better side without causing much danger.
There was one good chance but Roda
keeper Castro reacted well to a Fledderus shot.
Towards the end of the first half
the hosts started playing better and they took the lead
on the half hour.
Shortly after the break Roda decided
matters.
First Oper doubled the score and
minutes later he laid one on for Cissé to make
it 3-0.
Schulmeister's goal for 3-1 could
not alter the verdict for Heracles.
