Van Marwijk: "We were late all over the pitch"

Bondscoach Bert van Marwijk had mixed feelings after his team's victory over Finland on Tuesday. He had seen his team play well in the first 20 minutes of the game. "I was thinking this will be 4-0 at half time." But then he saw how the organization failed. "We were late all over the pitch, the spaces became too big," Van Marwijk said.

"The first 20 minutes were the best we have shown this season. We really deserved to be 2-0 up. On the bench I really though we'd be 4-0 up at half-time, we should be able to get through this easily. We were really confident, and then Finland score. The organization wasn't good after that, we were too far apart. After the break we finished it professionally."

With six points from two games Holland are well on track to Euro 2012 though. "I am happy with six points,but not with the way we played in the first half after we went 2-0 up."
