Willem II coach demands full investigation
into possible fixing

Rumors that the match Roda JC-Willem
II has been fixed
reached Willem II coach Andries Jonker Tuesday night,
shortly after the game.
"I have informed the players,
our chairman and the general director of it. My advice
to the KNVB: investigate this to the bottom," Jonker
said.
"Because let one thing be
clear: I totally trust Danny Schenkel. Everyone who
has followed him in the 250 or 300 games he played as
a professional will know that he's a winner. Besides
I check all players we attract very carefully. And I
observe them all day long. I have no complaints about
Danny whatsoever."
When asked about the remarkable
substitutions of his two best players Jonker said: "Anyone
who has any doubts should come and have a look at the
calf of Frank Demouge. Said Boutahar on Saturday played
longer than he was supposed to, after he has just come
back from an injury. As a precaution we even did the
warm-up with twelve players."
