Olympics are over for Roy Makaay

The Olympics are over for Holland's
center forward Roy Makaay.
The captain of Holland's Olympic
squad had a second CT- and MRI-scan made and these revealed
a minute crack in one of his foot bones.
Makaay sustained the injury in
Holland's first match against Nigeria.
Earlier scans did not reveal a
fracture, so the Feyenoord-player was a substitute against
the USA and started
three days later against Japan.
Makaay will watch Holland's quarterfinal
match against Argentina in Shanghai tomorrow and fly
home on Sunday.
