Steve McClaren: "Best FC Twente so
far"

FC Twente coach Steve McClaren
said he saw FC Twente play the best football of his
reign tonight.
"In the first half we played
the way I like to see it."
McClaren called the 1-0 victory
over Racing Santander fully deserve.
"A shame though that we weren't
able to hold on to that high level the whole match.
In the first half we should have scored more than just
that one goal. But I am happy. It s normal that our
opponents raise the pressure as the game continues.
Santander started taking more risk, we got a little
nervous. We really wanted to win this game you see."
