Bendtner to miss game against Holland

Nicklas Bendtner, forward and biggest star of Denmark will miss the opening game against the Netherlands on Monday. The Arsenal striker is not yet fully recovered from a groin injury and coach Morten Olsen will rest him.

Feyenoord player Jon Dahl Tomasson will replace him in the starting lineup. Bendtner has been kept sided by the groin injury for some time now. It is yet unclear whether he can play in any of the other group games Denmark against Cameroon and Japan.
