"Robben will make the difference"
21 June 2010
After two victories Holland have
qualified for the next round. Former Holland boss (twice)
Dick Advocaat is expecting a lot more of Holland during
the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
"Arjen Robben will make the
difference later on," says Advocaat, the new manager
of the Russian national team. "He can really command
a game. There is so much quality in this Dutch team.
Van Persie is an exceptional player as well. That will
be decisive eventually. When it matters they will be
there."
Many top teams had a disappointing
start to the tournament, Advocaat had noticed. "But
Germany are too strong to be eliminated. The English
look tired. Any team could be in trouble, so the Dutch
aren't doing that bad at all."
