Kuyt: "Japan got tired"
Saturday, 19 June 2010
Netherlands - Japan 1-0
Dirk Kuyt said the victory of the
Dutch team against Japan was fully justified. "In
the second half Japan got tired, and that left us more
room. We used this space well."
The spirit within the team is perfect
and that's reflected on the pitch, Kuyt thinks. "Seeing
how we pep each other up just before a World Cup game,
you can say that the team is feeling good." Kuyt
is satisfied with the result against Japan. "This
result is positive, if you manage to get six points
from two games at a World Cup you can be happy."
