Japan's coach Okada "We still have it all under
control"

Netherlands - Japan 1-0
Immediately after
the defeat against Holland (1-0), Japanese coach Takeshi
Okada said that there is no reason to mourn. "We
have to look forward to the next game, against Denmark.
We're still in control." They shouldn't be ashamed,
he said, to lose against Oranje. "We played
against a very strong team. For a long time we were
in the game, unfortunately we didn't manage to get a
result."
Okada did not feel
that his team were too focussed on the defense. "I
asked for courage in my team. To dare to attack. For
Holland it was frustrating that there were no opportunities
at the beginning. For a long time it seemed that we
could end this game with a good result."
