Dirk Kuyt: "Let's eat Japanese!"

Dirk Kuyt and several of his team
mates at the Dutch team are great fans of sushi and
frequently visit the Japanese restaurants in Johannesburg.
"I hope we'll eat them tomorrow as well,"
Kuyt said jokingly after yesterday's training. "We
are ready for them."
Just how ready Dirk Kuyt is was
felt by Rafael van der Vaart, who got a serious knock
from the Liverpool player. "That's football,"
Kuyt said. "Sometimes you take a knock. It wasn't
anything serious."
Kuyt did get serious about the
bus trip to the Princess Magogo, where Holland trained
yesterday. The trip took them to a poverty stricken
township. "That was impressive. It's good to see
the other side of the country. They are very poor in
some parts. When we drove by they were all waving and
smiling though. In a way that was good to see."
