film"

With the players at their disposal
Holland should have won the World Cup at least once
already, says Keisuke Honda, the big star of Holland's
opponent on Saturday in Durban, Japan.
"It's sucha shame that they
fail at the big moments. With such players you should
have been World Champions at least once, no? I believe
with Brazil and Spain Holland have the best team in
the world," says Honda, who - despite his criticism,
is a big fan of the Dutch.
According to the former VVV Venlo-player
Holland still have a lot to learn. "Yea, from the
team spirit I encountered in the Russian league or the
togetherness of Japan. Then Holland can be World Champion."
"They have the quality and
the winners mentality. But you have to be able to listen
to each other. The individualsare too focussed on themselves.
They are 11 film stars in the end. And that doesn't
mean you necessarily make the best film."
Honda thinks Robin van Persie the
best player in the team of Bert van Marwijk. "With
him in the team it's a different ball game. I think
he's better than Wesley Sneijder and Arjen Robben. As
a coach I would build the team around Van Persie. I
believe he is your star player."
The Japanese forward looks up to
Holland but still believes Japan will win the game on
Saturday. "The Dutch people will probably think
I'm crazy. Here's loony Honda again. But I don't mind.
The Japanese have great faith in themselves. The Dutch
should try to do the same."
