Strong support for Holland
Saturday, 19 June 2010
The Dutch national football team
can reckon with strong support when they take on Japan
in Durban today (kickoff 13h30). It is expected that
some 20,000 orange-clad supporters will be in the stands
at the futuristic stadium in Durban.
Around 6,000 fans have traveled
from Holland. Another 14,000 of the 40,000 Dutchmen
that live in South Africa have bought a ticket.
Thousands of fans could be seen
celebrating in the city of Durban, partying to Dutch
music and a lot of drinks.
