Robben arrived later b"cause
he has been treated in Rotterdam for a hamstring injury
he sustained last week in the game against Hungary.
Holland manager has already stated
that he will not use the Bayern Munich player in Monday's
game against Denmark.
Robben finished the intensive recovery
program with Dutch physiotherapist Dick van Toorn -
five days of eight hours tedious exercises - yesterday.
"It was tough," Robben said yesterday. "But
I knew what I was doing it for. The biggest challenge
now will be to get used to the difference in altitude
again," the player said on Dutch television, on
the phone from Paris.
Dick van Toorn (78) praised Robben's
attitude during the recovery week. "This man has
worked like a horse," he said. "But the muscle
is recovered. From a physical point of view he can play
against Denmark."
However Van Marwijk has said not
to take any risks with the mercury winger. "He's
moving in the right direction, but let's not underestimate
the injury. He hasn't trained much in the past three
weeks. We are now first going to see in what state of
fitness he is."
Robben himself thought his fitness
would not be a problem. "I have played all season
at Bayern. It should be all right."
