Physio: "Robben can play against Denmark"

Dutch superstar Arjen Robben can
play in Holland's opening game (Monday) against Denmark,
says his physiotherapist Dick van Toorn. The 78-year-old
puts himself on a collision course with Holland manager
Bert van Marwijk with his remarks.
"I believe Robben can play.
It's okay I guess to not let him play for tactical reasons,
but they can not say that he isn't fit," Van Toorn
the miracle healer said.
Robben is due to arrive in South
Africa on Saturday. But whether he will play is of course
up to the coach. Yet Van Marwijk seems to believe that
even when fit Robben shouldn't play because of the lack
of training.
"Yet I say: fit is fit. When
Arjen is free of pain he's fit and should play,"
Van Toorn told a German newspaper.
The eccentric physiotherapist,
who only treats people if he likes them, also said that
he didn't want to treat Robben at first because the
Madrid-player quit a treatment halfway through last
year.
