| Arjen Robben's injury is not looking
good |
Dutch captain Giovanni van Bronckhorst
fears Arjen Robben's injury is serious. The Dutch star
got injured in the last minutes of the friendly against
Hungary (6-1). The hamstring injury looks serious at
first glance said Van Bronckhorst. "He couldn't
even walk properly. It's not looking good," he
said on SBS.
"Everyone saw it was bad.
The atmosphere was good up until then. But such moments
can spoil that."
Dirk Kuyt also reacted with great
concern. "It was all going so well, too good to
be true almost. I was in the dressing room and saw it
happen on the television. He made a very unnatural movement
with that backheel, and put a lot of strain on that
hamstring."
Kuyt was with Robben in the dressing
room. "He's in a lot of pain, but you can never
tell from just that. Tests will have to clear things
up. This is such a loss to the team. It feels like losing
a game."
