Holland start preparing for World Cup

Bert van Marwijk will start preparing the Dutch squad
for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa (11 June - 11
July) today with a first training session in Hoenderloo.
For the first session of two days
Van Marwijk a group of 18 players.
On Tuesday Van Marwijk will announce
his preliminary squad of 30 players, 7 of which will
not make the cut. The definitive list of players Van
Marwijk will take to South Africa will have to be handed
in at FIFA on 1 June. Only in the case of serious injuries
can the squad be altered. After the first group game
no new players may be added. The medical commission
of FIFA will have to approve of a player being substituted
On Thursday and Friday there will
be a second training session in Hoenderloo.
