Ron Vlaar out with injury

Ron Vlaar was unable to finish
Tuesday morning's training session because of an injury.
It appeared as if the Feyenoord-defender injured his
left hamstring. It seems almost certain Vlaar will miss
Wednesday's friendly against Mexico in Freiburg (Ger).
Vlaar is competing with Khalid
Boulahrouz and André Ooijer for the position
of the right center back. It is expected that one of
these three will be dropped from the preliminary squad
of 27, along with three others.
The other players competing for
a spot seem to be defenders Braafheid and Anita, forwards
Babel, Elia and Lens and holding midfielders Schaars
and Engelaar.
