Frank de Boer: "Great, but we're not there yet"

de Boer was very calm looking back on Holland's semifinal
against Uruguay. "This is great, but we're not
there yet. Now we aim for the big prize. We have to
crown this on Sunday."
Like many De Boer
also thought Holland didn't play well for a long time.
"For long stretches of the game we were unable
to control it, and we were afraid to take any risks.
The changes in the second half improved matters; We
had to make changes as De Zeeuw had head aches because
of that kick in his face. All in all I think we deserved
to win, but we should have decided things earlier."
De Boer praised the
goal of Giovanni van Bronckhorst. "After that goal
of Dennis Bergkamp against France this might be one
of the best goals ever. It was a great shot."
But also in Van Bronckhorst's
shot the swerve of the ball was visible, as it was in
the goal of Forlan. "And that is because of this
Jabulani," De Boer concludes.
