Dirk Kuyt: "I want a new deal"

Dirk Kuyt believes Liverpool are
heading for a glorious future and he wants to be part
of it.
In-form Kuyt, who has bagged six goals this season,
faces Atletico Madrid at Anfield tonight in a game that
could see the Merseysiders clinch their passage into
the next stage.
And the Dutch international is hoping the Group D leaders
will speedily show their confidence in him by opening
contract talks.
His current deal has 18 months to run and Kuyt said:
My intention is to stay here for as long as possible.
I am really happy but so far there has been no talk
of a contract.
But I am not worried about the contract
I am just concentrating on my game.
Hopefully the contract will come in the next
couple of months. You know the decision will be made
before you enter the last year of your contract
but I definitely want to stay.
