Ryan Babel not on loan to Ajax

Liverpool have blocked a move of
Ryan Babel to Ajax.
The forward had asked the club's
management to be loaned out to Ajax, but got no for
an answer.
"Ryan feels he is spending
too much
time on the bench. He wants to play more and asked
me to check with Ajax whether they would be interested
in a temporary return," Babel's agent Winny Haatrecht
says.
"After Ajax reacted positively
we asked Liverpool for their cooperation but they don't
want to let him go. Manager Rafael Benitez thinks Ryan
is too important. Hopefully that will no translate into
more playing time. Let is be clear that Ryan is happy
at Liverpool but to further develop he needs playing
time."
