Meulensteen new coach of Manchester United

Dutchman René Meulensteen
has accepted the job of first team coach at Manchester
United.
Until now Meulensteen had been
with United as a technical skills development officer.
De 44-year-old will take the place
of Mick Phelan, who has been promoted to become assistant
manager to Alex Ferguson.
The vacancies are all the consequence
of Carlos Quieroz leaving the club to work for the national
team of his native Portugal.
