Middlesbrough sign Dutch striker

Middlesbrough have signed Dutch
striker Marvin Emnes from Sparta Rotterdam, the Premier
League club said.
A statement on the club Web
site said Middlesbrough had paid 4 million euros
($6.35 million) for the 20-year-old who has signed a
four-year contract.
Emnes, a Dutch under-21 international,
was voted player of the season last year at Sparta after
scoring eight goals in the club's last 10 games.
He was also eyed by Feyenoord Rotterdam.
