Sneijder leads the way for winning Real

Led by Wesley Sneijder Real Madrid
gained a hard fought victory over Athletic Bilbao on
Sunday.
The Dutch midfielder scored the
first goal and hit the post a little later.
He also came close to scoring a
spectacular goal when he fired just inches wide from
the halfway line.
Gonzalo Higuain - replacing suspended
Ruud van Nistelrooy - scored the other two Madrid goals.
Rafael van der Vaart had an assist
on Higuain's first.
Madrid are now joint second, one
point behind leaders Valencia.
